Florida School Garden Competition PDF Print E-mail

The School Garden Competition is designed to encourage the use of school gardens in elementary schools throughout Florida. The competition invites Florida elementary schools to highlight their school garden programs.

Elementary schools throughout Florida are invited to participate in the competition each spring. This program allows teachers the opportunity to gain recognition for their school garden as well as win monetary funds to help support their garden.

The competition begins each fall, when schools are invited to submit an entry containing a narrative and photos documenting their school garden programs.

Schools are required to send their entries in by mid-March, before the start of the Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival.
